Objectives
Over the series of anti-extradition protests that started in June, the Hong Kong government has demonstrated a blatant disregard for the people’s will and a total lack of moral decency.
In collusion with the police and triad gangs, it has infringed Hong Kong people’s rights and silenced them against their will with brutal violence and political prosecution.
Hong Kong is now enshrouded by white terror.
In view of this, we are launching this city-wide economic non-cooperative movement, where we pledge to minimise our expenditures to strongly condemn and pressure the government into acceding to the five demands.
Pledger’s obligations
- I pledge to be an ethical consumer.
- I pledge to minimise my spending as I deem necessary.
- I pledge to NOT purchase any goods produced or sold by manufacturers or shops which endorse human rights abuse by the Hong Kong government.
